Try this classic salmon recipe for a healthy and easy-to-prepare meal.  The cedar plank allows the salmon to cook gently for a velvety texture, and imparts a woody aroma to the fish.

Cedar Plank Salmon
serves 8
2 12”x 5” cedar planks, soaked in water for 1 hour then drained
2 (1 ½ lb) salmon fillets, skin and pin-bones removed
3-4 tbsp olive oil
kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
8 sprigs tarragon
4 sprigs dill
1 lemon, sliced thinly
Mustard for serving

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Remove salmon from refrigerator and pat dry with paper towels.  Drizzle olive oil on both sides and gently rub in; sprinkle evenly with salt and pepper.
2.  Place cedar planks on a baking tray and lay herbs and lemon on top, then place salmon over the bed of herbs and lemon. Transfer to oven and cook for about 20 minutes, until salmon flakes apart easily and just cooked through. Serve with Mustard.

RETURN POLICY: We offer a full refund within 30 days for items that are damaged, faulty or unused. Proof of purchase must be provided when making a return. Please call customer service at 718.389.2982, in advance to obtain an RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization) within 30 days of purchase date.

All Class tickets are Will-Call, your name will be placed on a list at the store, and nothing will be mailed to you. If you are thinking of purchasing a class as a gift, we encourage you to consider purchasing a gift card, which can be used towards a class that fits their schedule. Please know that if you purchase a class as a gift for someone else, the cancellation policy below will apply.

CLASS CANCELLATION POLICYIf a cancellation is made at least 3 days before the class, we will honor a store credit for the full value of the class, which can be redeemed at any time. If you cancel fewer than 3 days (72 hours) before the class, we will not offer a refund; however, class tickets are completely transferable and you are always welcome to send someone in your place.

All cancellations must be confirmed with an associate by emailing classes@thebrooklynkitchen.com.
