Do you need a break from pesto or chimichurri? Here we have Chermoula, a North African sauce or marinade made from herbs, lemon, spices and olive oil. Feel encouraged to experiment with different herbs and spices to put your own spin on it! Use any kind of vegetables you find at your market, and roast, blanch or steam them to your liking.

Seasonal Vegetables with Chermoula
Serves 8
1 ½ cups cilantro, cleaned
1 cup parsley, cleaned
3 garlic cloves
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp cumin, toasted and ground
Kosher salt
2-3 tbsp preserved lemon juice
About ½ cup olive oil
1 lb seasonal summer vegetables, (for summer: pole beans, tomatoes, potatoes, peppers, beets, eggplant)
½ cup pine nuts, toasted

1. To make chermoula: using a food processor, puree your herbs, aromatics and spices with 2 tbsp preserved lemon juice. While the machine is on, slowly pour in olive oil until desired consistency is reached. Taste and adjust seasoning and preserved lemon juice.
2. Steam, blanch, or roast vegetables to your liking. Dress with chermoula and garnish with toasted pine nuts.

Once your order has shipped, tracking information will be provided.

We determine the most efficient shipping carrier for your order. We use UPS as primary shipper, but special arrangement can be made upon request. PLEASE NOTE that if you are receiving perishable goods, someone MUST be available to receive the package.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING COSTS: We do not charge any handling costs, outside of the freight cost, which we pass on to you directly. PLEASE NOTE: Out of state orders WILL NOT be charged sales tax. In state orders will be charged 8.875% sales tax

RETURN POLICY: We offer a full refund within 30 days for items that are damaged, faulty or unused. Proof of purchase must be provided when making a return. Please call customer service at 718.389.2982, in advance to obtain an RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization) within 30 days of purchase date.

All Class tickets are Will-Call, your name will be placed on a list at the store, and nothing will be mailed to you. If you are thinking of purchasing a class as a gift, we encourage you to consider purchasing a gift card, which can be used towards a class that fits their schedule. Please know that if you purchase a class as a gift for someone else, the cancellation policy below will apply.

CLASS CANCELLATION POLICYIf a cancellation is made at least 3 days before the class, we will honor a store credit for the full value of the class, which can be redeemed at any time. If you cancel fewer than 3 days (72 hours) before the class, we will not offer a refund; however, class tickets are completely transferable and you are always welcome to send someone in your place.
