 There's nothing quite like having a latke for breakfast with a runny egg. Treat yourself to a delicious breakfast and then go back to sleep. You deserve it.

Shredded Potato Latkes
Serves 6

3.5 lb gold or yukon potatoes
1 medium onion
1 tbs kosher salt
1 tbs garlic powder
1 tbs pepper
2 eggs
About 1/2 cup flour
Grapeseed or other neutral oil

1. Spread a dishcloth over a cutting board. Shred potatoes with a box grater onto the dishcloth. Squeeze excess starch and liquid from potatoes using the dishcloth and place potato in a large mixing bowl.
2. Grate an onion and add to potato. Add salt, garlic powder, and pepper. 
3. Add eggs and mix using clean hands. Slowly mix in flour until the mixture sticks together when squeezed into pancake between your hands.   
4. Heat a high-walled skillet with about 1/2 inch of grapeseed or neutral oil and test the temperature by adding a few pieces of potato. When the potato browns your oil is ready. Form patties in your hands and squeeze excess liquid and starch from pancakes before putting them in the oil. Cook until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side. Move cooked latkes to a cooling rack on top of a cookie sheet to catch any excess oil. Eat immediately or place cookie sheet into a warm oven until ready to eat.

All Class tickets are Will-Call, your name will be placed on a list at the store, and nothing will be mailed to you. If you are thinking of purchasing a class as a gift, we encourage you to consider purchasing a gift card, which can be used towards a class that fits their schedule. Please know that if you purchase a class as a gift for someone else, the cancellation policy below will apply.

CLASS CANCELLATION POLICYIf a cancellation is made at least 3 days before the class, we will honor a store credit for the full value of the class, which can be redeemed at any time. If you cancel fewer than 3 days (72 hours) before the class, we will not offer a refund; however, class tickets are completely transferable and you are always welcome to send someone in your place.
